Brand Story

In 1916, while working as a dermatologist at the Royal Hospital of Edinburgh, Dr. William Campbell realized the urgent need of women for beauty care and came up with the idea of developing beauty skin care products. His wife, Mary, a nurse at the spa, was very supportive of this. She volunteered to be the first trial user. So the Campbells began their exploration of beauty care.

After years of research and practice, the Campbells independently developed the revolutionary secret "Regeneration Super Active Cell Fluid" by reinterpreting the classic cross-century thistle anti-aging essence; as a dressing, it penetrates deep into the skin, awakens cell vitality, makes the skin more elastic and attractive, and shows extraordinary skin care effects.

Brand History

The Duchess of Stuart, a member of the Scottish royal family in the 17th century, was a woman who greatly admired natural beauty. She particularly loved thistles and created a sea of flowers outside her castle estate. Every day, the maids who were responsible for picking thistles would pick fresh thistles, carefully handle the stems, leaves and infructescence, and dry them to make medicinal plants. They were also used to brew Scotland's traditional "absinthe", also known as bitter wine.

The Duchess accidentally discovered that the hands of the maids who were responsible for picking thistles were smoother than those of their peers. She believed that the white juice that flowed out after the stems and leaves of thistles were broken had a beauty effect. She was very excited about this discovery and praised it as "St. Mary's grass". At the same time, a group of herbalists and doctors were hired, and began to study how to use this beauty secret. Later, it was named "The Secret of the Duchess of Stuart".
