In 1916, while working as a dermatologist at the Royal Hospital of Edinburgh, Dr. William Campbell realized the urgent need of women for beauty care and came up with the idea of developing beauty skin care products. His wife, Mary, a nurse at the spa, was very supportive of this. She volunteered to be the first trial user. So the Campbells began their exploration of beauty care.
